(OTTAWA, ONTARIO) An early dose of National Basketball League of Canada action had a similar finish for the Windsor Express.
A 10:30am start in Ottawa couldn't stop the Express (24-7), as they clipped the Skyhawks 113-103 on Tuesday afternoon.
The win was Windsor's 10th in a row, one shy of the NBL record for consecutive wins by a team.
Reigning NBL Player of the Week, Stefan Bonneau, collected 20 points and 6 rebounds, featuring 6-for-8 shooting behind the arc.
In total, Windsor shot 17-for-30 from three point range, highlighted by Bonneau and Papa Oppong (4-for-4).
Seven Express players finished with double digit points, including newcomer, George Goode (13).
Goode was a key part of Windsor's bench, who supplied some much needed support, outscoring Ottawa's (16-18) group 54-22.
The Express look to tie the NBL winning streak record on Friday, February 14th at 7:00pm when they host the Mississauga Power.
It's another Coors Molson "Friday Night Out", which features a ticket, a hot dog and a 20 oz. beer for only $24.50.
The game also features the Express "Pawfect" Fashion Show, including a chance to have your pooch in the show!
Registration is $20, which includes a ticket and a $5 donation to the Windsor-Essex Human Society.
