Ten Giants prepare for NHL camps

The Vancouver Giants will have a record number of players attending National Hockey League training camps next month. Ten players from the Giants organization will be heading off to various camps across North America.

"We are extremely happy for all of our players that get the opportunity to try-out with NHL teams," says Giants General Manager Scott Bonner. "Everyone in our organization wishes all ten of them the best of luck at their respective camps."

Here is a list of players, by position, set to attend NHL training camps.

Gilbert Brule Columbus Blue Jackets 2005 NHL Draft (1st Rd/6th overall)

J.D. Watt Calgary Flames 2005 NHL Draft (4th Rd/111th overall)

Each of these players will be attending Giants Training Camp at the Ladner Leisure Centre. Camp runs August 26-31.
