*At Last We Meet: *The Tulsa Oilers host the Arizona Sundogs today, in the first ever meeting between the two franchises. Arizona is in its fourth season in the CHL and won the Ray Miron President's Cup in 2007-08. They are the only team the Oilers have never faced.

*Records: *Oilers are 12-9-1 for 25 points in third place in the North Conference.

Arizona is 7-12-3 for 17 points in eighth place in the South Conference.

*Season Series: *This is the only meeting between the two teams this season.

* *

*Recent Action: *The Oilers dropped a 4-1 decision to the Texas Brahmas last night, their sixth straight loss. Arizona beat Amarillo last night, 2-1 behind a 43 save performance from goaltender J.F. Perras.

*Short Stuff: *The Oilers lone goal last night came from Jake Riddle, shorthanded. While it was his first shorthanded goal of the year, it was the eighth shorthanded tally for the Oilers, tying them with Texas for the most shorthanded goals in the league.

*Steady Sean*: Rookie defenseman Sean Erickson assisted on Riddle's goal last night, giving him points in three straight games (1G, 2A). Erickson als has five points in the last five games and is also a +5 over that same stretch.

*Grand Achievement:* Arizona defenseman Chris Bartolone is playing in his 1,000^th professional game this afternoon. He is the Sundogs player/assistant coach and has played in 214 consecutive games. He played for Team Italy in the 1998 Olympic games in Nagano Japan.

*Bears In The Air:* The Oilers are holding their annual Teddy Bear toss today. After the Oilers first goal, fans who have brought teddy bears to the game will throw them on the ice, the bears will be collected and given to various charitable agencies for distribution through the holiday season.

*Next Up: *The Oilers will continue a four game homestand, hosting the Amarillo Gorillas on Friday night at 7:35. Arizona, which is wrapping up a season long six game road trip today, returns home to face Odessa on Wednesday.
