TeamSnap Becomes Presenting Partner of Red Stars Academy

Chicago, Illinois - Chicago Red Stars Academy is proud to announce TeamSnap as its official presenting partner for 2015. The agreement marks the return of TeamSnap for their second year working with the Academy, which is the official youth girls' training arm of the Chicago Red Stars professional women's soccer team.

Founded in 2009, TeamSnap works passionately to take away the hassle out of managing, coaching or organizing team sports and groups, and believes in "the power of community, athletics, and teamwork," a philosophy that aligns perfectly with the mission of Red Stars Academy.

"The sportswomanship and sense of community the Chicago Red Stars promote make them a perfect partner for TeamSnap and our focus on the positivity of sports participation," said Ken McDonalds, Chief Growth Officer of TeamSnap. "Especially in 2015, a FIFA Women's World Cup Year, we're excited to continue this partnership and help raise awareness of women's soccer among all age groups and backgrounds."

Academy Director Nichole Tiggs agreed wholeheartedly, stating, "TeamSnap is the absolute perfect partner for us. Red Stars Academy is here to help grow women's soccer in our local community, making it easy for young female athletes to receive strong coaching and training experiences. TeamSnap will be included in an integrated marketing campaign with both Red Stars Academy and the professional team, including a presence on August 1 when the Red Stars take on defending National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) champions FC Kansas City. The Chicago Red Stars look to earn their fourth win in five NWSL fixtures when they take on hosts Houston Dash on Friday, May 15. The club's next home match is on June 20 against Washington Spirit.
