Brandon, MB. - The Brandon Wheat Kings 2018 Training Camp has come to an end at Westoba Place.
Luka Burzan scored twice - his first with 23 seconds left in regulation to tie the score and another at the 1:45 mark of overtime to win it as Team Black scored a come from behind 6-5 victory over Team White.
Burzan's late game heroics spoiled quite the performance by rookie center Ridly Greig.
The 16-year old Lethbridge product, who was the Wheat Kings first round selection in the 2017 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, fired three goals in a losing cause for the Whites. His third goal came with 4:02 to play in regulation to give Team White a 5-4 lead.
Schael Higson, Rylan Bettens, Noah Wagner and Jake Chiasson rounded out the scoring for the Blacks, who outshot Team White 33-27, including 13 -8 in the third period of play.
Rounding out the scoring for the Whites were William Highet and Chad Nychuk.

Sunday's game marked the conclusion of camp for the Wheat Kings, who will announce a number of player assignments later tonight, before beginning preparations for their 4-game pre-season schedule.
Brandon will kick that off on Friday night against the visiting Regina Pats.
