SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled forwards Michael Bournival and Matthew Peca from the Syracuse Crunch, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced.

Bournival, 25, has appeared in 40 games with the Crunch this season, posting 13 goals and 27 points to go along with 40 penalty minutes. The Shawinigan, Quebec native ranks second on Syracuse for both goals and points. Bournival has skated in 108 career NHL games over three seasons with the Lightning and Montreal Canadiens, notching 12 goals and 22 points to go along with 24 penalty minutes. Last season with the Bolts, the 5-foot-11, 198-pound forward collected two goals and three points.

Peca, 24, has played in 42 games with Syracuse this season, registering eight goals and 31 points to go along with 12 penalty minutes. The Petawawa, Ontario native leads the Crunch for points and assists (23). Peca was named to his first AHL All-Star Game at the beginning of January. The 5-foot-8, 178-pound forward has skated in 10 career NHL games, all with the Lightning last season, collecting one goal and two points.
