November 29, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Gallup Outlaws News Release

Gallup, NM. The forward combination of Bernard McIntosh and Louis Richardson proved too much for the New Mexico Style to handle as the Gallup Talons moved to 4-0 with two wins over the Style led by the high scoring duo over the weekend along with the huge playmaking and assists of talented guard Will Funn. In game one, the two combined for 67 points, Funn had 24 assists - and they had 43 in game two. The Talons are an exciting, fast-paced, high scoring team with contributions from the entire squad.

According to Talons coach, Clayton Shields, "I like the way our team is playing. We have a few inconsistant moments, but we have played strong and well as a team. Our biggest early season challenge is going to be Texas, but we're off to the good start and look good."

Brandon Mason, one of the Talons talented players added, "Coach Shields gives us good motivating speeches before the game and at halftime. We come out strong, we play hard and Will just does a great job out on the court leading us when we play and that helps a lot." The Talons will meet the Style at home on December 3rd and then wll meet the Lincoln Generals on December 4th. For more information, call 726-8330 or email herald@cia-g.com or visit www.abalive.com.
