Rattlers ready to rattle

November 29, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Las Vegas Rattlers News Release

Las Vegas, NV. The ABA Las Vegas Rattlers are eager to extend their unbeaten home streak from the 2004-2005 season when they meet the Los Angeles Aftershock on December 3rd. The team, including ABA superstar Lou Kelly, will bring the game to the fans by playing at different locations throughout Las Vegas this season as they continue to remodel their own new venue. The games scheduled for December will be played on a brand new floor at the Dolittle Community Center.

According to Gil Morgan, GM of the Rattlers, "As part of the Rattlers "Give Back to the Community" Program, tickets will be only $3. for children and $10. for adults. Each adult that brings an unwrapped toy or can of food will get a discount off their ticket. And, as we always do at each home game, 100 tickets will be given to inner city children so that they may experience the thrill of the game."

Morgan added, "Each home game will be dedicated to a deserving group or person. The first game will be dedicated to our soliders in Iraq, a group near to all of us and especially me, as my son, SSGT Nicholas Morgan is serving a tour in Baghdad. A portion of the ticket sales will be used to send gifts to our soliders." For more information, email gmorgan29@aol.com, call 702 296 9241 or visit www.abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
