Maywood Buzz News Release

Orange County, CA- Orange County Buzz early season starters. Power forward Ronell Mingo and starting Point Guard Deon "BO" Williams were signed to contracts overseas late last week. Buzz General Manager/Head Coach Burrel Lee stated, "The Buzz family are happy for Mingo and BO as they get to showcase their talents on the international stage, we hate to loose two starters, but this is what the ABA is all about, giving guys the chance to bring it to the next level."

Meanwhile the loss of both Mingo and BO has been a difficult adjustment for Orange County, looser of their last 6, the Buzz are taking the few days of rest to re-gather that early season swagger they displayed.

"Even with the lost of two starters, our team is made of some fabulous talent. Robin "Sik Wit It" Kennedy has been playing his rear off trying to will the team to victory, but the game of basketball is a team sport we need to regain the inside presence we had with Mingo, and we believe we have the players to do that." Stated Assistant Coach Shawn P.

The Buzz are heading back on the road with a two game set against the SoCal Legends December 1st and 2nd. Don't forget the catch all the action on Buzz Cast Radio,
