
Talons Defensive Lineman Jerry Brown Signs with NFL Indianapolis Colts

(SAN ANTONIO) MAY 23, 2012 - San Antonio Talons have lost a player, but for all the right reasons. Talons defensive lineman, Jerry Brown, signed with the Indianapolis Colts yesterday and starts organized team activities with the team today.
Brown was the featured player of the game last week during the Talons' crushing win against the San Jose SaberCats, 72-47, for his impressive defensive showing throughout the first half of the season.
Brown, 6'4", 253 pounds competed in 10 games with the Talons and recorded 34 tackles, 5.0 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one blocked kick.
He spent the 2011 season with Talons' quarterback, Aaron Garcia, on the Jacksonville Sharks prior to joining the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.
Brown attended the University of Illinois and totaled 13 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and two passes defended.
