Tacoma Take Another Close One

Seven Tacoma pitchers combined to throw a six hitter, as the Rainiers downed the Salt Lake Bees 3-2 on Sunday night. Salt Lake was down 2-0 in the fifth when they scored their only run, as Jo Adell walked with the bases loaded. Kean Wong had a pair of singles to lead the Bees. Down 3-1 in the ninth, Jake Palomaki drove home Magneuris Sierra with a two out RBI double to get Salt Lake to pull within one, but Jose Rojas lined out to the wall in right to end the game.

Starter Kenny Rosenberg (2-3) took the loss, as he went four innings and allowed two runs on three hits with four strikeouts and three walks. Tacoma takes the series four games to two.
