Tacoma, WA - There will be a new type of potato chip showing up next to the classic hot dogs at Cheney Stadium. This week the Tacoma Rainiers signed a three-year exclusive partnership deal with Tim's Cascade Snacks.

Tim's, a locally-based South Sound company with modest beginnings in Auburn, Washington, was founded by Tim Kennedy and Jeff Leichleiter in 1986. Since its inception, the company went from making, packaging, and distributing chips by hand in Auburn to an international operation with a distribution area that expands over 11 western states, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and export markets of Japan, Taiwan and South Korea.

Recognized for unique flavors such as Jalapeno, Pepper Jack, Johnny's Seasoned and Wasabi, Tim's began to rapidly gain popularity. While recognition and growth have been abundant, Tim's, owned by Pinnacle Foods, remains locally operated and managed.

"We are very proud to have Tim's as a partner at Cheney Stadium." said Rainiers President, Aaron Artman. "Great chips, great culture, and a great company that has been contributing to the growth and sustainability of the surrounding community. We think the partnership fits our DNA very well."

Tim's Cascade Potato Chips will be the exclusive potato chip in the ballpark. The chips will be featured in our all-inclusive areas - luxury suites, Summit Club, and Dugout Club. Fans can also find their favorite flavors being sold in the grandstand and at all of the concession windows.

"I think this partnership is a great one for the Tacoma Rainiers, us and the community." said Leichleiter, co-founder and GM of Tim's Cascade Snacks "Both organizations give to the community in many ways and this is a real focus on the local economy and reinvestment for the future for everyone living right here in the Great Pacific Northwest. We create our snacks right here in the shadow of Mt Rainier every day and are very proud to be a part of the local community since 1986."

The Rainiers are looking forward to opening gates to fans on April 15th at 5:05pm and showing off the new stadium and the newest creations from Tim's Cascade Snacks. You can get your tickets by calling (800) 745-3000 or emailing tickets@tacomarainiers.com
