TACOMA, WASH. - Following an inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season that saw Tacoma Defiance finish atop the Pacific Division and reach the Western Conference Final, the club kicks off its 2023 campaign on the road against St. Louis CITY2 today at CITYPARK (3:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV).
Wade Webber's side, which returns nine players from last campaign, begins its season in the same place it ended last year. St. Louis eliminated Defiance in the Western Conference Final in October before falling to Columbus Crew 2 in 2022 MLS NEXT Pro Cup.
