Tacoma Defiance Travels to Real Monarchs Friday Night

TUKWILA, WASH. - After a 3-2 home victory over Earthquakes II on September 10, Tacoma Defiance (13-5-8, 52 points) travels to face Real Monarchs (8-13-5, 31 points) tonight at Zions Bank Stadium in Tacoma's last regular season road match of the year (7:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV). The two sides have already faced off twice this year, with Defiance defeating the Utah side 5-0 on April 2 and 2-1 on May 5.

Tacoma locked up the Pacific Division and a playoff berth earlier this month, and sits in second place in the Western Conference with 42 points with two matches left to play. Colorado Rapids 2 has clinched the top spot in the Western Conference, currently at 60 points with two matches left to play.

Following tonight's contest, Defiance returns home for a Decision Day matchup against Whitecaps FC II on Sunday, September 24 (2:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV).
