Tacoma Defiance Plays Host to Oakland Roots SC Wednesday Night at Cheney Stadium

TACOMA, WASH. - After battling to a scoreless draw against Sacramento Republic FC in California, Tacoma Defiance (9-13-7, 34 points) is set to face off against Oakland Roots SC (9-13-7, 34 points) in the fourth and final meeting between the two sides this year tonight at Cheney Stadium.
Tacoma and Oakland are both five points shy of LA Galaxy II for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Pacific Division. Both sides have three games remaining in the regular season.
Following its contest this evening, Tacoma hosts its final home match of the year against LA Galaxy II on Sunday, October 24 (1:30 p.m. PT / ESPN+).
