Tacoma Defiance battles Houston Dynamo 2

TUKWILA, WASH. - After locking up the second overall seed in the Western Conference, Tacoma Defiance begins its playoff campaign in the Western Conference Quarterfinals against Houston Dynamo 2 on Sunday, October 1 at Starfire Stadium (7:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV).

Defiance and Houston faced off twice in the regular season, with Tacoma winning both matchups, 2-1 on April 23 and 1-0 and July 2. Tacoma and Houston also played in the postseason last year, with Defiance emerging victorious via penalty kicks after a 2-2 draw following 120 minutes of action.

Should Defiance defeat Houston, it will host the Western Conference Semifinals next weekend at Starfire Stadium, with the opponent, date and time of the match to be announced next week.
