TACOMA, WASH. - Tacoma Defiance (7-3-4, 28 points) hits the road for a Sunday evening matchup against rival Portland Timber2 (1-10-2, 7 points) at Hillsboro Stadium (7:00 p.m. PT / mlsnextpro.com).

Defiance is looking for its second win over Timbers2 this year, previously defeating the Cascadia rival 3-0 on May 31 at Cheney Stadium. Tacoma currently sits in first place in the Pacific Division with 28 points through 14 games, while Timbers2 sits in fourth place with seven points through 13 games.

Following Sunday's match, Tacoma returns home to Starfire Stadium to take on Minnesota United FC 2 on Sunday, July 17 (7:00 p.m. PT / mlsnextpro.com).
