TACOMA, WASH. - Tacoma Defiance (5-17-5, 20 points) on Tuesday dropped a 5-0 decision at Reno 1868 FC (14-9-5, 47 points). Daniel Musovski recorded four goals and one assist for the home side, which snapped a four-match losing streak. Tacoma returns home to Cheney Stadium for its next match on Tuesday against Real Monarchs SLC (7:00 p.m. PT / ESPN+).

Musovski's first goal came in the fourth minute off a long pass from Brent Richards, his fourth marker in his last four games. The two connected again in the 26th minute, when Richards sent a ball into the area and Musovski headed it home for his second goal of the evening. One minute later, Seth Casiple made it 3-0 off a feed from Musovski near the center of the box.
Musovski completed his hat trick in the 30th minute. He received a ball near the top of the area on the far side and took two touches before blasting it into the far corner of the goal. The forward recorded his fourth goal in the 41st minute on another pass from Richards. Musovski headed home his second ball of the match when he took a pass from Richards and finished to give Reno a 5-0 advantage.
Six players under the age of 20 saw action for Tacoma tonight, including one First Team player in Danny Leyva.
Tacoma Defiance next returns home to face Real Monarchs SLC on Tuesday, September 17 (7:00 p.m. PT / ESPN+). The club then travels to take on Portland Timbers 2 on Friday, September 20 (7:30 p.m. PT / ESPN+).
