ARLINGTON, TEXAS - Tacoma Defiance (3-2-0, 9 points) lost 2-0 to North Texas SC (1-0-3, 8 points points) Sunday night at Choctaw Stadium. Despite a flurry of second-half chances, including a late goal by Paul Rothrock, North Texas' two early goals proved enough to secure the win as Tacoma suffered its second loss of the season. Defiance now returns home to take on Whitecaps FC 2 on Sunday, April 21 (8:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com).
