In the 50th minute, Bruin found Wingo with a no-look pass inside the area, as the midfielder finished past Sacramento goalkeeper Josh Cohen to give the hosts a 1-0 lead. The goal was the sixth in Wingo's USL career.
Bruin added the second tally in the 78th minute after he received a pass from Saad Abdul-Salaam and spun two defenders before burying a shot to the far post to make it 2-0. Cameron Iwasa converted a penalty kick 10 minutes later to get Sacramento on the board, but the game would end with a 2-1 scoreline.
