TACOMA, WASH. - Tacoma Defiance (7-4-6, 27 points) travels down to Oakland, California to take on Roots SC (4-8-5, 17 points) Saturday evening (5:30 p.m. PT / ESPN+). Tacoma is currently riding a three-match winning streak and an eight-match unbeaten run (4-0-4) dating back to July 3. Oakland is also unbeaten in its last five (3-0-2), including a win over Pacific Division-leading Phoenix Rising FC on August 25.

Tacoma currently sits in third place in the Pacific Division standings. A win on Saturday would vault the club into second place as it is currently two points behind Orange County SC with three games in hand.

Following its match on Saturday, Tacoma returns home to Cheney Stadium to take on Las Vegas Lights FC on September 2 (7:00 p.m. PT / ESPN+).
