
T-Birds Roll Past Reno, Get above .500

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Feb 6, 2009 - The Thunderbirds, now 13-12, went above .500 for the first time this season with their win over the Reno Bighorns, who slipped to 11-17.
Albuquerque's guard and lone NBA D-League All-Star Will Conroy led the T-birds with 34 points and 12 assists. In addition to making the league's All-Star roster, Conroy was named NBA Development League Co-Player of the Month for games played in January alongside the Utah Flash's Dontell Jefferson.
Making his debut with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds this evening was swingman Antoine Agudio.
"We are very excited that someone of Antoine's ability is available to us." Albuquerque Head Coach John Coffino said. "He brings an offensive game that can add to our strong back court."
Agudio scored 11 points against the Bighorns Friday night, including a three point jumper in the first half.
Helping the T-birds' get their thirteenth win of the season were forward David Monds, forward David Noel and center Jasper Johnson, who combined for 65 points and 32 boards.
On February 7th the T-birds will host the Los Angeles D-Fenders (7-19). The D-Fenders come into Tingley after 113-105 loss to the Utah Flash but will look to rebound.
