
T-Birds Confirm 2010-11 Schedule

The Seattle Thunderbirds 2010-11 regular season schedule is now set.
The T-Birds will open the season against the Everett Silvertips on Friday, September 24 at Comcast Arena in Everett at 7:35pm.
The T-Birds will hold their home opener on Saturday, September 25 at 7:05p.m. against long time rival, the Portland Winterhawks. The T-Birds will be offering their Opening Night pre-sale special for the second year in a row. The special will give fans that purchase a group package of 20 or more tickets a second group game for FREE. For more information on the offer call the T-Birds at 253-239-7825.
T-Birds single game tickets for the 2010-11 season will go on sale on Wednesday, August 25, at 10 a.m. online at www.seattlethunderbirds.com and at the ShoWare Center box office.
The T-Birds will wrap up their opening weekend in Kennewick against the Tri-City Americans on Sunday, September 26, at 5p.m. at the Toyota Center.
The T-Birds made one change to their schedule, moving the Tuesday, February 15 game against the Vancouver Giants to Tuesday, March 1. The game will still be held at ShoWare Center at 7:05p.m.
The T-Birds will play seven games at home on a Friday, 14 games at home on a Saturday and six games at home on a Sunday over the course of the 2010-11 season.
The T-Birds will play the Portland Winterhawks 12 times this year, with six games at home and six games in Portland. All home games against Portland will be played on Saturdays
The T-Birds will play against I-5 rival the Everett Silvertips 10 times with five games at home and five in Everett.
The T-Birds will play seven Tuesday games during the 2010-11 season. All Tuesday games will be 2-for-Tuesdays, offering fans 2-for-1 ticket specials and $2 concession specials.
The 2010-11 T-Birds Promotional Schedule will be released on Thursday, August 12.
The T-Birds will be traveling to the Eastern division this year for a 6 game road trip from November 6 through November 13. On the road trip they will face the Brandon Wheat Kings, Moose Jaw Warriors, Saskatoon Blades, Prince Albert Raiders, Regina Pats and Swift Current Broncos.
During December the T-Birds will play two home-and-home series against the Spokane Chiefs. These games will take place December 14 and 15 and December 28 and 29.
The T-Birds will be traveling to Portland for their annual New Years Eve game on Friday, December 31. The T-Birds will be back at ShoWare Saturday for a New Years game at 7:05p.m. against the Kamloops Blazers.
T-Birds season tickets are also currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-PUCK.
