T-Birds At Home For Two Games This Weekend

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, Jan. 8, 2010 - The Albuquerque Thunderbirds will return to Tingley Coliseum this weekend for two games. The team is riding a three game winning streak, and completed the 2010 NBA D-League Showcase with a 2-0 record to improve to 6-9 on the season.
The T-Birds will take on the Reno Bighorns on Saturday, Jan. 9. The game tips off at 7 pm, and the first 500 fans will receive a Tony Danridge autograph card courtesy of the Albuquerque Journal. Fans will also have a chance to meet local boxer, Archie Ray Marquez, as he prepares for his upcoming bout on Jan. 29.
The T-Birds will then play host to the Utah Flash on Jan. 10 during their brief homestand. This game begins at 3 pm, and will be the team's first Family Day of the season. Fans are encouraged to participate in the team's White Elephant Gift Exchange, and should bring an inexpensive gift to take part in the exchange. The first 500 kids through the door will receive a Lazer Tag Pass to Hinkle Family Fun Center.
