(Peterborough, ON) - On Thursday, October 12, the Peterborough Petes hosted the London Knights and former Pete Michael Simpson in a rematch of the 2023 OHL Championship Series. London won the game by a score of 3-2 in overtime.
Before the game, the Petes honoured Simpson with a welcome back video montage that ended with Petes President Dave Lorentz presenting him with his 2023 OHL Championship ring.
It was also Bell Community Heroes night at the PMC, with a total of nine local heroes honoured on the ice for the pregame puck drop.
Sam Mayer and Jax Dubois both scored for the Petes, while Braydon McCallum and Quinton Pagé picked up assists. Liam Sztuska stopped 34/37 in the loss.
