Syracuse Crunch Sign Forward Kevin Lynch to PTO

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have signed forward Kevin Lynch to a professional tryout contract, general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

Lynch, 25, has played in 35 games with the Indy Fuel this season. He is third on the team with 24 points and tied for third with 11 goals. Last season, he appeared in two games with the Crunch along with five with the Manitoba Moose. He also played in 62 with the Florida Everblades of the ECHL posting 58 points (22g, 36a) and a plus-16 rating.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound center has skated in 60 career AHL games with the Crunch and Moose posting three goals and one assist. He also has 175 career ECHL games, accumulating 124 points (48g, 76a) and 97 penalty minutes with the Fuel, Everblades, Evansville Icemen and Toledo Walleye.

Prior to his professional career, Lynch appeared in 168 games over four years at the University of Michigan totaling 72 points (35g, 37a). The Grosse Pointe, Michigan native was a second-round selection, 56th overall, of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
