Syracuse Crunch News Release
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have partnered with New York's 529 College Savings Program Direct Plan (NY529) to present a Stick To Reading program for the 2018-19 season.
The Stick To Reading program presented by NY529 encourages children in the Syracuse community to get excited about reading. As part of the program, a Crunch player or representative will visit a school or library to read a book and answer questions. Children in attendance will receive an educational handout, including a Crunch-themed Mad Lib and quotes about reading, along with a complimentary ticket to a Crunch game and the opportunity for friends and family to purchase tickets at a discounted rate.
Players are available for this program, but appearances are limited and will be fulfilled on a first come, first serve basis. Other Syracuse Crunch representatives, including Crunchman and staff members, will be available to participate in the Stick To Reading Program presented by NY529.
For more information or to bring Stick To Reading presented by NY529 to your school or library, contact the Crunch office at 315-473-4444.
