Comets Recall Anselmini, Reassign Gardiner

Utica, N.Y. - Utica Comets General Manager Ryan Johnson announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Brandon Anselmini from Kalamazoo. Additionally, the team has reassigned forward Reid Gardiner to the Wings.

Anselmini, 25, has appeared in 16 games with Kalamazoo, earning seven points (0-7-7). The defenseman has three points (0-3-3) in 17 career AHL games split between Texas and Rockford.

Gardiner, 22, skated in five games in his stint with the Comets. He's also played in six games with the Kalamazoo Wings, netting five points (2-3-5).
