Switchbacks Look to Rebound Wednesday

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Monday, July 13, 2015) - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC look to get back in the win column on Wednesday in Vancouver.

Switchbacks FC will be taking on Whitecaps FC 2. The two clubs last met on June 6th here in Colorado Springs at Sand Creek Stadium, where Switchbacks FC won the match 3-0.

This past Saturday, Switchbacks FC fell to Roughnecks FC in Tulsa 3-1. Now, the team is looking to rebound with a win in Vancouver.

"We look forward to our first trip to Vancouver," said Switchbacks FC Head Coach Steve Trittschuh. "They are coming off a win against Portland and we are coming off our first loss in a while. They are a solid team and we are going to have to be on our game to get a result."

Switchbacks FC (10-6-0) remain in the top half of the USL's Western Conference with 30 points, while Whitecaps FC 2 (6-8-4) have 22 points.

The Switchbacks FC versus Whitecaps FC 2 match is Wednesday, July 15th at 8 p.m.
