Switchbacks FC Welcome Back Zach Zandi for the 2024 Season

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today that Zach Zandi would be returning for the 2024 season, pending league and federation approval.
"I'm really excited to be returning for my fourth year," said Zandi. "It's a great opportunity to continue building on our success over recent years. I cannot wait to return to Colorado and play in front of the best fans in the USL."
Zandi, 27, is going into his fourth season as a Switchbacks player. With a major injury taking him out for most of 2023, Zandi has made an incredible impact on his previous seasons. In the 2021 and 2022 seasons, Zandi has made 35 appearances, six goals, four assists, completed 604 passes, and held a passing accuracy of 76.7%.
A Pennsylvania native, Zandi played for Villanova University. This midfielder went on to join USL Championship League signing with Bethlehem Steel FC earning three goals and six assists.
"Very happy to have Zach back for the upcoming season. He has been doing everything he can to return to full fitness for 2024 and has shown great determination in that regard," said Technical Director & Assistant Coach, James Chambers. "He has the ability to be one of the top players in the league and we feel that he can do that here. A fully fit Zach Zandi is a great asset to any team."
