Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC News Release
Colorado Springs, CO - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today the signing of Mike Seth, pending USL Championship and USSF approval.
"Mike will give us a lot of versatility on the field because he has a lot of experience and has good soccer intelligence," said Switchbacks head coach, Steve Trittschuh. "He has gained a lot of experience these last two years with a couple teams and he was anxious to come back to the Switchbacks. I look forward to working with him again."
Seth, 31, was a member of the Switchbacks in 2015 and 2016 before spending time with Phoenix Rising and San Antonio FC in 2017 and 2018. In his first stint with the club, Seth scored 12 goals in 57 appearances, including the first goal in Switchbacks history against OKC Energy FC on April 4th, 2015. He would then go on to score in consecutive games and cement himself in Switchbacks history as the lone goal scorer in the first Switchbacks win in franchise history, a 1-0 result in Utah over Real Monarchs SLC.
"I'm excited to be back in Colorado. I'm just ready for the season to get started and get back to work," said Seth.
