
Switchbacks FC Sign Goalkeeper Andrew Pannenberg

Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC News Release
Colorado Springs, CO - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today that the club has signed Andrew Pannenberg, pending league and federation approval.
"I'm very grateful for the opportunity," said Pannenberg. "I'm looking forward to bringing a championship to Colorado this year."
Pannenberg joins the Switchbacks after playing three seasons at Wake Forest University. In his time with the Demon Deacons, Pannenberg recorded 79 saves and 13 clean sheets in 32 appearances.
Pannenberg was selected in the second round (49th overall) in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft by Orlando City SC.
"Andrew had a very good college career and came highly recommended," said Switchbacks Head Coach, Brendan Burke. "He has a great work ethic and is a strong shot-stopper and communicator, we hope all of this will allow him to challenge for minutes in his rookie year with us."
