April 9, 2021 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Louisville City FC News Release
Louisville City FC will play all but one of its games this year under the lights, it was announced Friday as the USL Championship announced kickoff times for the 2021 regular season.
The campaign begins at 7:30 p.m. on April 24 when the boys in purple open against Atlanta United 2 at Lynn Family Stadium. That same time will apply to all home games aside from the club's nationally televised Oct. 3 matchup with New Mexico United at 3 p.m. on ESPN2.
The earliest LouCity will kick off away is 6 p.m., while an opening whistle on the road will blow as late as 9 p.m. for a July 23 trip to play Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, also on ESPN2.
Fans can newly sync the full list of dates to their calendar at LouCity.com/2021-schedule .
With game times now set, a full broadcast schedule will soon follow. LouCity games will air locally on WDRB Media's family of stations, primarily WBKI/The CW, as well as on ESPN Louisville's radio networks.
There's a chance to see the boys in purple in preseason play, too. They host the USL Championship's Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on April 17 in a game open to the public at Lynn Family Stadium. Visit LouCity.com/tickets for more information.
