Switchbacks FC Look to Go 4 for 4 Against Real Monarchs SLC

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Thursday, June 11, 2015) - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC will host Real Monarchs SLC this Saturday, June 13th in what will be the Switchbacks FC's third match in a week.

Switchbacks FC have faced their Rocky Mountain Rival three times so far in both USL regular-season play and Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup play. Switchbacks FC have won all three matches.

"The Real Monarchs SLC are a team we know well and they are a very good team," said Switchbacks FC Head Coach Steve Trittschuh. "We are playing with a lot of confidence and we look to keep our winning streak at home alive."

The team is optimistic about Saturday's match and hopes to continue their home-winning streak. Just last night, in front of a crowd of 3,700, Switchbacks FC beat Portland Timbers FC 2 - their fifth home win in a row.

Switchbacks FC (6-5-0) now have 18 points in the USL Western Conference, while Real Monarchs SLC (1-6-5) have 8 points.

The Switchbacks FC vs. Real Monarchs SLC match is Saturday, June 13th at 7 p.m. at Sand Creek

Stadium. Switchbacks FC will be honoring cancer survivors.
