
Switchbacks FC and Colorado Springs Sports Corp Officially Announced a Renewed Partnership for the 2

Colorado Springs, CO - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and Colorado Springs Sports Corp officially announced a renewed partnership for the 2017 season.
After a successful partnership during the 2016 season and the Rocky Mountain State Games, the Switchbacks and the Sports Corp have teamed up again ahead of the 2017 Rocky Mountain State Games.
As part of the Rocky Mountain State Games, the Switchbacks will be the official sponsor of the High School soccer tournament that will take place July 21-23. The championship game will be played on Sunday, July 23 at Weidner Field, the official stadium of the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.
In addition, the Colorado Springs Switchbacks will be hosting two promotional nights for the Rocky Mountain State Games, the first coming on the Switchbacks' "Galactic Night" on Saturday, June 3 against OKC Energy FC at 6:00 PM and the second coming on Saturday, July 8 against Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 at 6:00 PM for the 4th Poster Series Night.
This partnership is a continuation of the Switchbacks' commitment to the Colorado Springs Community and the further development of soccer in our community. Since our founding in 2015 as a member of the United Soccer League, the Switchbacks have been heavily involved in the community.
The Switchbacks are entering their third season having come off back-to-back top three finishes in the Western Conference. Head Coach Steve Trittschuh has brought in a handful of new faces to the team, as they continue their 2017 campaign having moved up to Division II from Division III the past two seasons. The Switchbacks are currently competing in the United Soccer League which is the world's largest Division II professional soccer league, with 30 markets in 20 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces for the 2017 season.
