Rochester Unites for the Rhinos- City Skyline to Turn Green this Weekend

ROCHESTER, NY - The Downtown skyline will be illuminated "Rhinos Green" this Friday April 21 and Saturday April 22 in support of the Rochester Rhinos home opener on Saturday.

The following locations in Downtown Rochester will turn their lights green this weekend in support of the Rochester Rhinos kick off to the 2017 season!

City Hall

High Falls

Central Library of Downtown Rochester

Tower 280 at Midtown

Kodak Tower

Legacy Tower

Xerox Tower

"Wendy and I were thrilled to learn that the downtown business community, as well as local government offices will be turning the lights green in support of the Rochester Rhinos this weekend!" Rhinos Co-Owner David Dworkin, "We can't wait to see the skyline light up green and are also looking forward to kicking our 2017 home season at Capelli Sport Stadium this Saturday at 6:15 PM!"

"The Rochester Rhinos and the Capelli Sport Stadium Downtown are two of Rochester's treasures and I encourage everyone to come and see them showcase their exciting brand of soccer at the home opener this weekend," said Rochester Mayor Lovely A. Warren.

The Rhinos home opener is Saturday, April 22 when the defending USL Cup champion New York Red Bulls II visit Capelli Sport Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:05 p.m. ET. Gates open 2 hours prior to each game, where fans can enjoy $2 Genesee happy hour drafts until 15 minutes before kickoff.
