Halifax Mooseheads News Release

Halifax Mooseheads' General Manager Marcel Patenaude announced today that he has been advised by team doctors that 18-year-old winger Bryce Swan could miss up to four weeks with a broken thumb.

At the request of Bryce Swan and his family, Bryce's participation in next week's NHL Prospects Game has not been ruled out. Mooseheads' General Manager Marcel Patenaude will have further discussions with team doctors and Prospect Game officials before a final decision is made.

Swan suffered the injury in last Sunday's game against Moncton Wildcats.

At the same time, Mooseheads' forward Logan MacMillan (knee) and defenceman Ben Chaisson (shoulder) have been cleared to play and both will be available to the Mooseheads for games Friday at Cape Breton and Sunday against the St. John's Fog Devils (4:00 p.m.) at Metro Centre.
