Surf Win Behind Inky''s RBIs

Newly acquired designated hitter Pete Incaviglia delivered a bases loaded single in the fifth inning to key a four-run inning and lead the Atlantic City Surf to a 5-4 victory over the Pennsylvania Road Warriors before 1568 at Sandcastle Stadium Sunday night.

The two-RBI single was Incaviglia''s first hit as a member of the Atlantic City Surf. Atlantic City also got RBIs from Victor Gutierrez and Jose Velasquez to go 2-1 in the second half and 7-4 under new manager Mitch Williams. Craig Mattson earned his 14th save of the season by striking out Ben Craig in the ninth with two runners on base. Atlantic City starter Jim Crowell, 5-3, got the victory for the Surf.

Atlantic City now begins a three-game road trip against Bridgeport on Monday night. Eric Ludwig will face Masaru Imazeki.
