
Surf take first game Versus Camden 6-4

Camden, NJ- The Surf played a good game tonight as they scored six runs in clutch situations, beating the Riversharks 6-4 in front of 7,800 fans.
Brad Strauss hit a home run on the very first pitch of the game from Anthony Chavez, But the Surf would come back with two runs in the fourth. The Sharks then tied it up with a RBI double in the bottom of that inning, but then the AC bats came alive.
Brandon Jackson doubled to open up the sixth. Gubanich then brought him home with a two-base hit which tied the game up after the Sharks took the lead in the fifth. Brody Jackson then lined a rocket shot down the third base line with one-out on the board to go up 4-3, and Ric Johnson sealed the deal with an RBI single later that frame.
Juan Thomas added a two-out RBI double in the ninth inning which gave the Surf an insurance run as they went on to win 6-4.
Chavez pitched eight inning picking up his 11th win on the year and striking out his 10th batter of the year.
The Surf and Riversharks are tied with five wins and five losses against each other in the Atlantic City Expressway series.
