Bridgeport,CT- Dave Carroll picked up his first victory and came within two outs of pitching a shutout before Bridgeport plated a run. The Surf scored two runs in the second inning, another run in the third, and Kim Batiste connected with a solo home run in the eighth inning to give the team a 4-0 lead.
Anthony Chavez takes the mound tomorow at 12:05pm and will try to prove redeam himself after his opening day loss to Nashua. You can liisten to that game and all the other games on 1490 WUSS, your Surf radio network.
