Superbowl Weekend with The Vision

ATLANTA, GA - January 27, 2006-Atlanta Vision will provide pre-Super Bowl entertainment on Friday, February 3rd and Saturday, Feb 4th as they host NBA All-Star Tim Hardaway and the #1 Florida Pit Bulls. The double header weekend of these two ABA powerhouses should be the perfect competitive appetizer to Sunday's NFL showdown. The Atlanta Vision remains #2 in the American Basketball Association's Barnes/Malone Division and climbed to #8 in the ABA Power Rankings after extending their impressive winning streak to seven in a row against the Birmingham Magicians.
The match-up begins Friday night, February 3rd, with a pre-game NETWORK LITHONIA FIRST FRIDAY co-hosted by the City of Lithonia's Mayor Darold P. Honore', Jr from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Local business owners can network with other professionals and community leaders and meet the Vision before the 7:35pm tip-off. Local schools will celebrate Lithonia's 150th Birthday and participate in game day entertainment along with the beautiful ladies of the Atlanta Vision Dance Team. The first 50 fans to purchase an adult ticket for the game will receive 'Stampede Sticks" courtesy of Buffalo Wild Wings, the Official Wild Wings of the Atlanta Vision.
Saturday night's theme is 'BRAND ATLANTA NIGHT" where fans are encouraged to wear paraphernalia from any of their favorite Atlanta sports teams - Hawks, Braves, Falcons, Thrashers, and the Vision to qualify for great prizes. "Super Bowl weekend will be a memorable one for all of us," comments Vision general manager Dennis Scott, 'It is nice to celebrate with the community and our fans." There will be fun contests and special give-a-ways for participating fans from 'Brand Atlanta Ignitors", AmeriSuites, 680 The Fan, and other Vision sponsors.
Other promotional nights include 'College and Greek Night" on February 18th at 5:35pm, 'Gospel Night" on February 19th at 3:35pm, and 'DeKalb Community Night' on February 24th at 7:35pm. The organization will celebrate their last home game of the season on February 25th during 'Atlanta Vision Fan Appreciation Night." All Atlanta Vision regular home games are played at The Samson's Center, 6400 Woodrow Road - Lithonia, Georgia 30038. Fans are encouraged to come early and see why the Vision was recently named 'Atlanta's Best Value in Sports Entertainment."
