Eastlake, Ohio:Score another run for Mother Nature. The Suns (14-4) and the Lake County Captains (10-7) were rained out Tuesday. The second rainout for the Suns in five days, and the third for Lake County. A double-header is scheduled at Classic Park (formerly Eastlake Ballpark) on Wednesday at 6:05pm, a half hour earlier than the original game was to be played.
This is the first meeting between the two Northern Division rivals in 2005. Lake County was 13-3 versus Hagerstown in both 2003 and 2004, when the Suns were a San Francisco Giants Affiliate. The series is four games, and will conclude at 7:05pm on Friday night.
The Suns come back home Saturday, 4/30, at 6:35pm on Hagerstown Hub Memo Pad Giveaway and Scout Night at Municipal Stadium. The Suns will be hosting the Kannapolis Intimidators for the first of a four game series and homestand. For ticket info call the Suns office at 301.791.6266.
