JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Jacksonville Suns came back after a rain delay of an hour and a half to beat the BayBears 5-3 Monday. The BayBears had led the game 3-0 early, on a second inning sacrifice fly by Cesar Nicolas and a two-run single by Javier Brito in the third. The Suns came back with one in the fourth and one in the fifth before the rain delay.

Jacksonville scored twice in the seventh inning off Mobile's Matt Elliott (1-3), who suffered the loss. The Suns added an insurance run in the eighth on an RBI double by Cory Dunlap. The BayBears were retired in order in the ninth inning.

Esmerling Vasquez pitched five innings, allowing two runs on five hits in a no decision. Wesley Wright (3-2) was the winning pitcher for Jacksonville, throwing a scoreless sixth and seventh innings.

The BayBears and Suns play the fourth game of the series Tuesday night at 7:05, with Jonathan Castellanos (5-4) on the mound for the BayBears against Mike Megrew (3-5) for the Suns.
