
Suns Lose Lopsided Affair 16-6 to Lexington

Hagerstown, MD - The Hagerstown Suns (66-47/24-20) lost 16-6 to the Lexington Legends (63-50/24-20) at Municipal Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Starter Taylor Jordan (0-2) suffered the loss, giving up five runs on five hits, two walks and three hit batters. Centerfielder Billy Burns collected three hits, including an RBI double for Hagerstown. Justin Miller tripled and drove in two.
Legends' starting pitcher Chris Devenski (7-5) earned the win in his first start for the Legends, going five innings allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits. First baseman Zack Johnson had three RBIs to put his league-leading total at 100 for the season. Left fielder Brandon Meredith hit a home run and finished the game with four hits and three RBIs.
The Suns and Legends (Astros) will complete the series on Monday at 7:05 p.m. when RHP Brian Rauh (1-1, 6.59) takes the mound against Lexington's RHP Mike Foltynewicz (12-3, 3.07).
