Hagerstown Suns News Release
The Hagerstown Suns are pleased to announce that they will be hosting their annual FREE baseball clinic at Municipal Stadium this upcoming Saturday for all children from ages seven through twelve.
The clinic, which is sponsored by St. Lawrence Cement Company, will take place on Saturday, July 8th and will last from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The clinic will be run by Suns players so all boys and girls who attend the clinic will get hands-on instruction from the pros themselves.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, and every child must be accompanied by a guardian who must sign a waiver to enable the child to participate. In addition to receiving instruction from Suns players and/or coaches, all children who participate in the clinic will also receive a free ticket to that evening's game against the Lakewood BlueClaws, which starts at 7:05 p.m. Participating kids will also receive a free lunch (hot dog, bag of chips and drink) immediately following the clinic.
The Hagerstown Suns are the Class A affiliate of the New York Mets and are owned by Mandalay Baseball Properties of Los Angeles, California. For more information, contact the Suns at 301.791.6266 or at info@hagerstownsuns.com.
