
Sundogs Add to Roster, Sign Forward Matt Craig

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League announced today they have added forward and fourth-year pro Matt Craig to their roster.
Craig opened the 2008-09 campaign with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL, skating in 16 games before being traded to the Wheeling Nailers. In 16 games with Utah this season, the 26-year-old recorded one goal, three assists and 12 penalty minutes (PIM).
Since turning pro, the 6-foot, 185-pound forward has appeared in 190 ECHL contests with Utah and the Idaho Steelheads, registering 53 goals, 63 assists and 130 PIM. Craig has also tallied one goal, one assist and two PIM in 11 games with the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Prior to turning pro, the London, Ontario, native skated for four years at Quinnipiac University. In 140 NCAA contests, Craig compiled 133 points (60g/73a) and 137 PIM, becoming just one of 23 players in school history to finish with 100 points or more in a career.
