Sunday's Mascot Mania Sure to Provide Laughs

DUBUQUE, IA-Mascot friends Bernie the St. Bernard and Maxx Mustang are throwing a party on Sunday that will have you in stitches. The laughs will be a-plenty on Sunday for the return of Mascot Mania presented by Victory Ford, a fan-favorite promotion that brings together costumed characters from around the Tri-State region for an afternoon of hilarious fun. Over a dozen mascots will be in attendance for Sunday's 3:05 p.m. game against Cedar Rapids. The game features a TH Media Family 4 Pack special and fans may also take the ice after the game and "Skate with the Saints," making it a perfect family Sunday.
In addition to Bernie and Maxx, mascots appearing at Sunday's game includes: Dollar from Dupaco, Little Squirt from Grand Harbor and Good Neigh-Bear from State Farm, as well as returning favorites Earny the Eagle from American Trust, Sippi from the National Mississippi River Museum, Sporty from Sport Clips, Pioneer Pete from UW-Platteville, Captain Shield from US Bank, Verlo Mattress Man, Andy the Armadillo from Texas Roadhouse, Cuttie from Clark University and Scoopie from Culver's.
The main event of Sunday's Mascot Mania, the annual Mascot Hockey Game, will take place during the first intermission. It'll be Team Bernie, the reigning champion, against Team Maxx in a ferocious on-ice battle between a dog and a horse, with teams made up of mattresses, ice cream cones, eagles, armadillos and a pioneer, to name a few.
Mascots will entertain the crowd all afternoon long, including giving smooches to fans during the Mascot Kiss Cam. There will also be a Mascot Dance-Off where two of the best mascots will be chosen to wow the crowd with their best moves. The mascots will also lead the crowd in cheers and be available for pictures with children on the concourse of the arena.
Sunday marks a TH Media Family 4 Pack game. This package includes 4 tickets, 4 slices of Domino's Pizza, 4 sodas and 2 Kids Zone vouchers starting at just $48 when purchased in advance. TH Media Family Four packs may be purchased online by using promo code "family".
Additionally, fans can stick around after the game to "Skate with the Saints." The entire team will be on the ice following the contest, and fans can get autographs from their favorite players. There is no cost to "Skate with the Saints," and skates are available to rent for $2.50.
Sunday's game is against Prairie Farms Cowbell Cup rival Cedar Rapids, a team Dubuque has beaten four times this season, and trails by only six points for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
