Omaha Storm Chasers News Release
OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals and Nashville Sounds, scheduled to meet in a single nine-inning game at 1:35 p.m. this Sunday at Rosenblatt Stadium, will now play two seven-inning contests beginning at 12:05 p.m. The twinbill is being played to make up for a game between the two teams that was rained out yesterday in Nashville.
The teams are making up the rainout in the "Big O" rather than in the "Music City" because of a doubleheader already scheduled on Saturday, May 30 - the middle day of a four-game series in three days - the next time the Royals visit Herschel Greer Stadium.
Gates to Rosenblatt will open at 11:30 a.m. for the Mother's Day double-dip. A special Mother's Day brunch will be available in the Stadium View Club beginning at 11:30 a.m.
It's U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art, plus after the game all kids are invited to run the bases with Casey after the second game! All Subway Kids Club members receive a FREE ticket to the game, courtesy of Subway. Plus, any fan bringing an Our Family Brand food item to the stadium gets a FREE G.A. ticket! The day is also presented by KGBI 100.7 FM and KPTM.
For tickets, call the Royals ticket office at (402) 738-5100, or order and print tickets online at www.oroyals.com and at www.Etix.com.
