Sun To Host Opening Ceremonies For AAU Tournament

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (June 23, 2008) - The Connecticut Sun will host the opening ceremonies for the Girls 11 & Under AAU National Championship prior to the game against the Atlanta Dream on Friday, June 27th.
Thirty-eight teams from around the country will be participating in the tournament, which will be held in New Haven on June 27-July 5. Each team will parade onto the court during the opening ceremonies in addition to being announced throughout the game against the Dream. The opening ceremonies will begin at 4 p.m. and run for approximately 30 minutes. It is not open to the public.
