
Sun Sign Three Guards to Training Camp Roster

UNCASVILLE, CT. (April 12, 2004) â The Connecticut Sun announced today that it has signed FIBA League guards Anastasia Kostaki and Anna Zimerle, and former Boston College star Brianne Stepherson to training camp contracts.
Stepherson, 24, is a former Kodak District I All-American who finished her career at Boston College as the 10th all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,115 points. The 5-foot-8 guard has played in 19 games for the Springfield Spirit of the National Women's Basketball League, averaging 4.3 points and 2.7 assists per game.
Kostaki, 26, is a 5-foot-6½ guard averaging 15.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists for Delta Basket Alessandria, the Italian-based FIBA Europe Cup team led by Asjha Jones. Kostaki has also played professionally in France and Greece, served as the starting point guard for the Greek National Team, and was in the Cleveland Rockers' training camp during the 2002 season.
Zimerle, 27, is a 5-foot-7 guard averaging 7.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for Italian FIBA EuroLeague team Famila Schio-Beretta.
